Arlene Kramer Richards, Ed.D., is a member of the Advisory Board of NYSPP. She is a member of the International Psychoanalytical Association; a Fellow, Training and Supervising Analyst at the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research (IPTAR); a Training Analyst at the New York Freudian Society. She has taught at the Smith College School for Social Work, the Silver School of Social Work at NYU, IPTAR, American Institute for Psychoanalysis (AIP), and at the Tonji Medical College. She has published numerous articles and books on topics including gender-related issues, women’s psychology, and loneliness, as well as on literature and films. She is co-editor ofMyths of Mighty Women: their application in psychoanalytic psychotherapy (Karnac,2015).
