Carol Thea, LCSW, BCD, is the President of the Board of Trustees of NYSPP, where she is a supervisor and faculty member. She is a Board member of American Association for Psychoanalysis in Clinical Social Work (AAPCSW) and a Fellow of the Society of Clinical Social Work. She is past Chair of Operations for a NMCOP (now AAPCSW) national meeting and Co-Chair of volunteers and hospitality for subsequent AAPCSW national meetings where she has served as a panelist, including the panel “Therapist Through Life Stages.” She has also served as discussant and moderator for various presentations at then-NMCOP and AAPCSW national meetings and is on the planning committee for biannual NYC conferences. Ms. Thea is in private practice in Manhattan.
