Maryam Newman Razavi is a graduate of NYSPP, where she served as Board member and faculty for twenty-five years and is currently a supervisor. Her PhD is from Columbia University School of Social Work. She is a psychotherapist and psychoanalyst and has worked with persons suffering from depression, difficulty in relationships and parenting. She also worked with immigrants and is published on the topic. She is currently working with older patients or disabled ones and to make it easier for them she works exclusively through telephone or internet.
